The death of veteran singer and songwriter Sound Sultan remain a wound that won’t heal in the heart of Nigerians across the globe.
Sound Sultan was pronounced dead on the 11th of July after losing the battle to cancer and the singer was buried the same day according to Islamic rites.
However, he was remembered by some group of friends and close relative last night with a candlelight service held in his honour.
The award-winning singer songs were being played as those who attended the event rocked a black t-shirt that shows that they are mourning with the face of Sound Sultan printed on it.
They also waved balloons in the singers’ honour with candles being lit, a move that shows the singer will always be remembered for good.
