With all the major brands ably represented at the award, everyone sat on the edge of their seats waiting to hear the company that will take home the stand-out prize of the evening; the much coveted Content Marketing Company of the year Genesis Studios Wins big at the 2015 Marketing World Awards
Innovative TV production Powerhouse, Genesis Studios, won the award for its role in production, marketing and overall performance of their inspiring contents notably Tales of Eve and So Wrong So Wright
Pleased about the award, the captain of the ship and the CEO of the thriving outfit, Olaegbe Olatubosun, said that the award came just when his outfit decided to open its platform to other content producers.
“Before now, all that drove our business were our own contents. The moment we decided to set up a content acquisition, distribution, marketing and syndication company called CREN (Cross Root Entertainment Network), we’ve seen that we have done well in terms of client services and qualitative content delivery.
“This award proves that we are the right people to do business with if you are an independent producer and you don’t want to disturb yourself about how to go and market your content to the advertisers or the advert agencies. We simply let you concentrate on churning out fantastic contents while we take care of how they are profitably marketed. We feel very happy and quite fulfilled that our effort for the year has being recognized in a way this massive. The Media World Awards is one of Nigeria’s foremost awards which celebrate strides in brand and advertising annually. To spice up its award categories, this year, it added a content marketing category and Genesis Studios happens to be the very first winner of that category.
