Lifetime documentary series, ‘Surviving R.Kelly’ which is to trace the singer’s alleged history of sexual and physical abuse was reportedly turned down by a lot of musicians.
The tell-all documentary which is meant to have 50-plus interviews with the singer’s accusers, family members and friends. Also, it is equally meant to have artistes whom Kelly had collaborated with in the past. .
However according to the executive producer of the project, Dream Hampton, most of the artistes reached, ranging from Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, Dave Chapelle and more, all decline to be a part and preferred to stay silent on the matter.
However, John Legend has reportedly agreed to participate and appear in the series.
