Veteran Nollywoood actress, Kate Henshaw has confirmed her mother’s death. The actress took to Instagram to communicate the sad news to her fans and friends.
The actress mother’s death had earlier been announced by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Emeka Rollas, in a statement he shared on Instagram the same day Nollywoood veteran comic actor, Mr Ibu passed away.
He wrote;
“Sad Day for Actors Guild of Nigeria.
Kate Henshaw lost her mother earlier today and Mr Ibu suffered cardiac arrest according to his manager for 24 years Mr Don Single Nwuzor. I announce with deep sense of grief that Mr Ibu didn’t make it. May his soul rest in peace.”
Confirming the news, she asked her fans, friends to keep her family in thoughts.
“Dear friends and fans.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear mother on March 1st 2024. “Your prayers mean the world to me during this difficult time.
“Please keep my family in your thoughts.
“Rest in peace mummy.”
