Brother to late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, Chiemerie, has revealed that the late singer refused to divorce her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, because her followers might perceive her negatively if she quit the relationship.
He said she did not want people to describe her as a divorced Christian singer.
“I knew Osinachi very well. She was very quiet and God-fearing,” media reports quoted Chiemerie to have said.

Osinachi died on April 8 follow years of alleged domestic violence from Peter, her husband who has since been arrested and will, according to the police, be prosecuted.
