2 dead, 1 injured, as helicopter crashes at Opebi, Lagos

A yet-to-identified crashed helicopter has landed on Opebi area of Lagos State.

According to reports, the copter was said to have dropped from the sky around noon at the Salvation Bus Stop in Opebi.

Rescuers stormed the scene of the incident. But thankfully, no life or death has been recorded, however, reported as of the time of filing this report.

Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, verified the incident to journalist in a telephone conversation.

“Yes, it just happened.

The helicopter crashed in Opebi around 12pm. LASEMA operatives are on our way to the incident site. I’ll give you more updates,” he said.
