Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has confirmed to friends that her relationship with Azuka Ononye is over, Daily Mail reports.
Rumors of their split first surfaced in November 2024, and insiders now reveal that while they’ve parted ways, they are still living together to co-parent their daughters, Azura, 10, and Anaya, 4.
Alesha recently took a solo trip to the £1,000-a-night GoldenEye resort in Jamaica, with sources saying it was a much-needed break from her busy schedule. “She’s navigating the split as best as she can,” a friend shared.
The couple’s last public appearance together was in July 2023 at Stormzy’s birthday party. They have not been seen on each other’s social media for months, with Azuka’s last post about Alesha dating back to 2021.
Alesha and Azuka first met in 2006 when he worked as her backup dancer. Over the years, she praised him as her best friend and a supportive partner. While they were rumored to have secretly married in 2017, neither ever confirmed it.
Signs of trouble became more apparent in late 2024. The pair attended a Nas concert separately, sitting at opposite ends of the venue. Alesha was also spotted without her wedding ring in a Britain’s Got Talent promo photo.
Despite the split, Alesha has emphasized her commitment to providing a loving, stable home for their children. She once shared, “I make a very conscious effort to create a supportive home with two great role models.”
