Former UFC fighter, Rodrigo de Lima has died after an alleged hit-and-run incident in Brazil.
News of his death was reported by MMA Fighting, who claimed UFC welterweight Michel Prazeres told them that de Lima, his long-term friend, was hit from behind by an Uber driver on Sunday.
It is said that de Lima, a Jungle Fight welterweight champion and two-time UFC fighter had been travelling in the Uber with friends when he and the driver began to argue.
Following an alleged altercation, the driver is said to have driven away before returning to run de Lima over.
The case is being investigated by the civil police, according to OLIBERAL.com.
