Nollywood actress, Lilian Afegbai has taken to her Instagram page to explain that there is nothing wrong with a lady stating that she does not want a broke man.
She specifically mentioned that she is not prepared to be in a relationship with a broke person.
She mentioned that she wants to be spoilt and also treated like a queen.
Here is what Lilian Afegbai wrote;
“You people can keep deceiving yourselves.
Nobody likes to suffer.
If you like broke people, you can’t force everyone to be like you.
Let people that like better thing enjoy…
Independent women want to be spoilt respectfully. It’s what you ask for, you attract….
Stop bashing people who want different for themselves.
You don’t know their story.”
In 2018 she won the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for Indigenous movie of the Year for her production debut Bound in 2018.
Lilian Afegbai recently stated that she only wants men that will add value to her life.
According to her, sex is overrated; also, if that is all men have to offer, they should keep it to themselves.
“Don’t come around me if you don’t have your shit together.
”If I wasn’t looking good and working hard to take care of myself, you won’t want me,” she wrote.
“So if you are not coming to add value to my life and career, take several seats.
”Sex is overrated. If that is all you have to offer then keep it to yourself.
“We are getting older and wiser.
Women are doing so much more that sometimes I ask myself ‘You can do better.’
So don’t come to my space if you not going to add value.”
