Chrissy Teigen, the wife of American recording artiste, John Legend has apologized for online cyberbullying and trolling on social media.
Chrissy announced in March that she was leaving Twitter because it was bringing out the worst in her. She returned to the platform 3 weeks later.
Later, TV personality Courtney Stodden accused Chrissy of online bullying. The bullying happened in 2011 when Chrissy was 25 and Stodden was 16.
Chrissy had sent Stodden a message, urging them to take their own life.
Teigen published a series of tweets in May apologizing to Courtney Stodden.
Stodden accepted the apology but said it could just be an attempt to limit damage to Teigen’s reputation.
Chrissy Teigen has now published a blog post where she apologized for her “old awful awful tweets.
The US model reflected on “the crushing weight of regret for the things I’ve said in the past” and promised to do better.
