Popular Nigerian businessman, Mompha has debunked claims that he was asked to maintain a low profile by the EFCC after the arrest of Hushpuppi by the FBI.
Recall that Hushpuppi has been trending for the last few days after some new revelations were revealed about his alleged involvement in cybercrime.
However, things took a new twist when it was reported that Mompha was asked to keep a low profile by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) after Hushpuppi was arrested.
Reacting to the claims via a post on his official Instagram account, Mompha noted that the reports are false.
According to Mompha, he was not asked by the anti-graft agency to keep a low profile as his case with EFCC has nothing to do with fraud.
Mompha noted that he’s not a fraudster and he’s not associated with a fraudster.
