American Hip-hop star, Sean Combs aka Puff Daddy, and his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura aka Cassie, have settled ‘amicably’, just a day after she accused him in a federal lawsuit of rape and a decade of ab¥se.
The ex-couple disclosed this in statements released on Friday, November 17.
Ventura filed a lawsuit on Thursday accusing Combs of raping her and subjecting her to years of repeated physical and other abuse.
However, in a statement on Friday, she said: “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
Combs also released a statement of his own saying: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
