In a heart-stopping event last week, renowned actor and producer Azeez Ijaduade was discharged from the hospital after surviving a close brush with death caused by a stray bullet fired by a zealous police officer in Iperu, Ogun state.
Reflecting on the terrifying incident, Ijaduade recounted how the bullet not only pierced his car’s metal but also his neck, leaving him fighting for his life.
“I couldn’t fathom how it happened,” said the producer, who documented the harrowing episode in a video showcasing the trajectory of the bullet through his vehicle.
Amid days of shock and disbelief, Ijaduade expressed profound gratitude for what he called an incredible intervention by a higher power. He highlighted the overwhelming outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers across the nation and overseas, emphasizing how their gestures played a pivotal role in his recovery during this distressing time.
Singling out the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and various media entities, the movie luminary praised their unwavering support.
“I’ll forever cherish those who stood by me through this challenging phase,” Ijaduade affirmed, acknowledging the crucial role of their solidarity in navigating through this daunting ordeal.
