Two domestic staff of the late popular caterer and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Kitchen Country, in Akure, Ondo State, Mrs. Olakunbi Adene, have confessed how to causing their boss’ d3ath after she prepared a good meal for them just two days after her 54th birthday.
The suspects were arrested last week in Akure and ldanre, after police detectives tracked Adene’s Android phones stolen by them after k3lling her.
Debbie lived alone in her two bedroom apartment in Ondo state…After her 54th birthday on Tuesday, July 23,2024 she decided to cook for her three domestic staff on Thursday, July 25 to celebrate her birthday with them.
After they ate her food ,they descended on her while she was eating in the bedroom because of the money that was sprayed on her on birthday on Tuesday.
She begged them to spare her life but they refused. They strangled her and ripped her stomach open with cutlass.
The generator that was on didn’t allow neighbors to hear what was happening.
They took her two phones and ATM cards and fled the scene.
On Sunday, July 28, her laundry man went to the house to get her dirty clothes. He saw a key on the door outside. He knocked and no one responded. He called and the woman’s number was switched off. He asked her neighbors about her and they told him to go inside. He ran back when he saw her body with her stomach ripped open.
Detectives were able to arrest two of the staff when they tracked her phone. The driver is still on the run. Her ex husband is seeking for justice for her .
