Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Sanku, has tragically passed away following a fatal car crash along Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025, leaving several passengers inj¥red. Sanku and another victim were reported to be critically hurt, but the comedian was later confirmed dead at the hospital.
His colleague, Ozain Comedy, confirmed the heartbreaking news on his Instagram story, writing: “Rest well, soldier.” Shortly after, influencer Jidex also took to TikTok with a tribute captioned: “Rest in peace.”
Sanku, who launched his comedy career in 2021, rose to fame in 2024. His unique style and originality quickly gained him a loyal fan base, amassing over one million followers on TikTok.
Since the news of his d+ath broke, fans, fellow entertainers, and influencers have flooded social media platforms like X and Instagram with tributes to the late skit maker.
