The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on young Nigerians to rise above mere criticism of leadership and focus on becoming solution providers.
Speaking in a devotional message titled “From Critic to Activist” from the Open Heavens Daily Devotional, Adeboye said while criticism may draw attention, real change comes through wisdom, knowledge, and practical action.
“Don’t just criticise people or systems; be part of the solution you want to see,” he urged. “Statues are never built for critics. Protests and placards may highlight problems, but what matters is the ability to provide answers.”
He cautioned against empty zeal, stressing the importance of strategy and capacity-building. “Beloved, God has a great plan for you, but overzealousness without wisdom can derail it. Grow in knowledge so your passion produces lasting impact,” he added.
After more than five decades in ministry, Adeboye concluded by urging the youth to combine divine guidance with practical steps, channeling their energy towards transformation that leaves a lasting legacy.
