Golden Royale , Multipurpose hall, which is at the heart of Enugu, the capital city of Enugu State came alive for three days, as notable stars such as Enyinnaya Nwigwe, Bryan Okwara, Ebube Nwagbo, Melvin Oduah, Marie Claire, Ken Erics, Adaeze Eluke, Chinonso Arubayi and the host of others, stormed the Coal City for this year’s edition of The Wedding Showcase Nigeria.

The event also saw fine boy actor, Enyinnaya Nwigwe acting out a romantic marriage proposal to beautiful actress, Ebube Nwagbo
According to the organiser, Kachy Ugwa, the exhibition fair was essentially the melting pot for top Nigerian fashion icons and parades, event, media and logistics vendors from all parts of South Eastern Nigeria and 2017 edition was a grand success.
“This year’s edition was three times better which featured , the exhibition held at Golden Royale , Multipurpose hall from the 24th – 25th November. We had different vendors from all around Enugu and its environs. There were lots of freebies, shopping, interesting fun and games with over 4000 persons in attendance,” he said.
Mr. Kachy added that TWS 2017 also had a succesful first ever business dinner with the theme ‘building synergy and sustainability in business.’
“We had facilitators such as the brain behind the Event Market Nigeria and a renowned event expert ,Mr Temitope(TSOULE) , financial expert and coach ,Mr Cornel Awgu , the social media expert and radio diva, Mrs Gloria Emodi ( fabulosgloria) and the Hair engineer, Ms Chinyere Okoro spoke on building a brand from scratch , the power of social media and how to sustain and manage our finances’, he stated.
The icing on the cake and the highlights of the wedding showcase 2017 was the Night of lights – fashion meets runway show, which had designers such as Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Sevondejana all the way from Lagos.
They graced the runway with other delectable indigenous designers in the likes of ladybeellionaire, judan clothing , bellany and the host of others
.
To spice it all up, musical performance by Ric Hassani, Wow of the voice Nigeria, Makysha and a beautiful rendition of the song Goddbye by Legendary suni in memory of our Dear Friend Eric Arubayi and beats from the best DJ East of the Niger – DJ Xtacee.
The Night continued with an amazing comic performance from NEDU WAZOBIA as he graced the runway as “sister Nkechi”, MC franchez, MC Nzeboy, Mc 4 God and the ever entertaining ONE NIGERIA CREW – the ngwongwo parliament of Dream fm Enugu.
