After signing out, final year student dies while playing basketball

Francis, a final student of the Department of Microbiology, Unizik, died yesterday, after slumping during a basketball competition.

The deceased, who was meant to write his last last paper tomorrow, signed out last week. He was rushed to the school’s clinic but there was no doctor on ground or oxygen to help stabilize him. .

He was later rush to another hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival. Two years ago, Ugo, from the same Department, also died because of the careless of the doctors and lack of equipment at the institution’s clinic.
