After years of expecting a child, bouncer, pregnant wife die in Lagos fire

Sunday Braimoh, a bouncer in a nightclub, and his wife, Morenikeji, were on Tuesday burnt to death in a fire incident at Olodi Apapa, Lagos. .

It was learned that they were in their room when the fire started around 4pm on the corridor of the eight-room bungalow, after fuel spilled on the floor while one of the male tenants was fuelling his generator where a tenant was cooking.

The deceased cried out for help but could not make it alive, as the burglary protector behind the door to their room, prevented rescuers from opening the door. They had been married for a while, until recently when the wife became pregnant.
