Bad Boys for Life is a 2020 Hollywood action, comedy film, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, and is the sequel to Bad Boys II (2003) in the Bad Boys franchise.
The film has extended its run at the top of the box office to a third week becoming the highest-grossing film in the franchise.
Globally the film has pulled in $291 million, $20 million over the $271 million Bad Boys II made in the entirety of its theater run. The original 1995 film did $141 worldwide, Variety reports.
This weekend’s total for the third run of Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett played by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, respectively, was $17.7 million.
Bringing the total to $148 million in the US. Top-earning areas for the film include the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, and Australia.
