BBC fires radio presenter, following his Chimpanzee tweet about the Royal baby

The BBC has fired a British radio presenter, Danny Baker, after he tweeted an image of a chimpanzee dressed in a suit and captioned it “Royal Baby Leaves Hospital”. Accordingto reports, the BBC regarded his tweet as a serious error of judgement that went “against the values we as a station aim to embody”.

Prince Harry and Meghan welcomed their baby in the early hours of Monday. The boy named Archie is the first mixed race child to be born into a senior position in British Royalty in recent history.

Meghan’s mother is African-American while her father is white. Hence, the social media do take the post as an entity of racism.
