Mike Edwards, who was the only married man in the Big brother Naija season 4 house has shared some of his best kept secrets to staying faithful to his beautiful wife.
He shares this tip on his Instagram: “How do you stay faithful? I get asked this question a lot lately and despite the obvious reason of falling in love with the most incredible woman whom I get to call wife @itspsd . I figure I’d write my answer here for what it’s worth.
Well, my answer is strength no weakness. A man with no self discipline will fall weak and lead astray, having the discipline and respect for yourself and significant other becomes a habit, and with time habit becomes second nature.
I would also say that sacrifice is a vital part of what has helped me. The key is you have to be able to sacrifice who you are, (ex. old habits) for who you’ll become, don’t be afraid of taking the road less traveled in the process. Hint: Find yourself spiritually
Lastly, your environment. I believe in the saying you are the company you keep. My advice is surround yourself with people who have similar standards and family values as you. Simple.”
Mike Edwards is a husband, CEO and athlete who doesn’t know how to quit. The highest point in his life was the day he got married to the love of his life, Perri Shakes-Drayton, an Olympian and a TV personality. Mike got married to Perri in London, a month before joining the Big Brother Niaja house.
Mike owns the first Black-owned cigar line in the United Kingdom and he’s also a professional athlete.
It would also be recalled that the union of Toyin Abraham and Adeniyi Johnson which was contracted on July 3, 2013, crashed like a pack of badly stacked cards in August, 2015.
Toyin had announced that she had filed for a divorce on grounds of infidelity, after catching Johnson sleeping with her friends and even domestic staff.
