Melinda Gates, ex-wife of billionaire Bill Gates, is reportedly dating a former Fox News reporter. TMZ reports that the 58-year-old philanthropist has been dating Jon Du Pre, 63, for months now.
They were spotted at a Brooklyn Nets basketball game in April of this year.
It would be recalled that earlier this year, Melinda told CBS Mornings Gayle King that she was dating again, ‘dipping her toe’ back into the world of romance and definitely’ open to finding love again less than a year after her divorce from Gates.
It’s not clear how Melinda and Du Pre met. But TMZ reports they have also been spotted, along with other family members, at Pelican Hill — a 5-star hotel in Newport Beach, California.
Du Pre was a correspondent for Fox News Channel in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
He’s now a Strategic Communications Specialist, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Du Pre shares three children with his ex-wife, Gina: sons Kasey and Jonny, who graduated from BYU, and daughter Jessie, who graduated from University of Utah, according to Page Six while Melinda and Bill had three children together – Jennifer, 25, Rory, 23, and Phoebe, 19.
