Billionaire Businesswoman, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are sparing no expense for their upcoming wedding in Venice, reportedly spending a staggering $50,000 per guest to ensure a luxury experience for their invitees.
According to Brides.com, the couple’s nearly 200-person guest list brings the estimated cost of the event to at least $10 million. However, other sources suggest the total bill could soar past $20 million — a minor dent for Bezos, whose net worth is estimated at $230 billion, per Bloomberg.
Bezos, who famously proposed with a 30-carat engagement ring, is expected to host an ultra-exclusive affair packed with A-list celebrities. Among the guests is actor Orlando Bloom, though fiancée Katy Perry reportedly won’t be attending. Also expected is Lauren’s ex-partner, former NFL star Tony Gonzalez.
The couple and their guests will be staying at the luxurious Aman Venice, a historic five-star hotel where rooms range from $2,000 to $10,000 per night. The venue has been fully booked from Wednesday through Sunday for the event.
