‘Black Panther’ has smashed ‘Titanic’s box office record

The success of #BlackPanther continues—following immense ticket sales since its release, Marvel’s epic superhero film just surpassed Titanic to become the third highest-grossing movie of all time at the North American box office.

In less than two months, Black Panther has managed to make more at the box office than 1997’s Titanic, which is more than a little impressive. 

As The Hollywood Reporter notes “Black Panther finished Friday with a domestic total of $659.3 million, just shy of the $659.5 million grossed by Titanic,” easily surpassing that mark on Saturday.
