Veteran Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James popularly known as Baba Ijesha has been granted bail by the court in the sum of 2million Naira with 2 shorties.
The court held that one of the sureties must be blood relation, resides in Lagos and must have tax clearance certificate of 3 years preceding today and a valid birth certificate.
Such surety must make a monetary bond of 1m
The other surety must be a legal practitioner whose certificate must be valid.
He has only 7 days to perfect the bail but as of today was released to Babatunde Ogala SAN and must write a letter of undertaking.
The court has adjourned his trial to 26th, 27th and 28th of July for prosecution to open his case against the defendant.
Baba Ijesha is currently facing a six-count charge bordering on the indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by penetration.
