A Lagos-based businessman, identified as Stephen Okafor, is currently on the run after allegedly beating his wife to death in Isolo area of the state.
Okafor and Blessing Uche were married for 12 years but they were unable to have kids. It was gathered that this caused a lot of issues in their home, with Okafor mostly being physically and emotionally abusive towards his wife.
According to a family source who spoke with Instablog9ja, “On February 20, 2024, Mr Stephen Okafor b£at his wife to d£@th at their home in Iya Karia estate.
On that same day, after realising what he did, he took the wife to one hospital at Isolo where she was confirmed d£ad.
He then hurriedly chartered a local ambulance to take her body to her family house in Enugu. When the ambulance got there, the lady’s family discovered she was brutally beaten to d£ath.
The family have been called him but he has been on the run. The local ambulance driver who took the lady to the hospital has been arrested and a petition has be filed against Okafor in Panti, Yaba.
Okafor sells vehicle spare parts at Ladipo while the deceased was a trader at Trade fair international market.”
A video shows the deceased covered with bruises from head to toe. Her face was badly bruised as a result of the b£ating she received.
