American superstar, songwriter and performer, Chris Brown, has expressed appreciation to the organizers of Headies award for the recognition.
The award recently held its 15th edition on Sunday, September 4th, 2022, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
Breezy, who has worked with a sizeable number of Afrobeats acts such as Wizkid, Davido, Ayo Jay, Rema & Lojay, was nominated in the “International Artiste Of The Year” category, a new voting award category for a non-African artiste or group with the most outstanding achievement and impact on Afrobeats.
The singer, who was nominated alongside international stars like Beyonce, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber , and Nas, was declared the winner on Sunday night.
Reacting to the announcement, the singer took to his instagram page on Monday, September 5th 2022, to appreciate the headies for the recognition.
