A hair vendor, DBeauty Mogul, has sparked controversy by calling out former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephine Otabor, widely known as Phyna, over an alleged failure to return a “rented” wig after its designated rental period lapsed.
According to the vendor’s message shared with Instablog and subsequently circulated on social media, Phyna supposedly rented the wig for the A Tribe Called Judah movie premiere held on Sunday, December 10, 2023. The agreement entailed returning the wig the following day, Monday, December 11, 2023, which allegedly hasn’t been fulfilled as of the recent moment.
Expressing concern, the vendor’s message read, “Phyna rented my wig for the movie premiere of A Tribe Called Judah on Sunday (10th, Dec 2023). She ought to return the wig on Monday (11th, Dec 2023). Till this minute, she hasn’t returned my wigs. Can you please help in any way?”
When queried about evidence supporting the claim, the vendor confirmed having proof to substantiate the allegation.
In response, Phyna refuted the accusations, dismissing them as the actions of “clout chasers and blackmailers.” Taking to her Instagram story, she countered, “Every day different stories. Now it’s clout chasers and black mailers…….. y’all need to do better……..Phyna the air everybody in Nigeria dy breath…… make Una rest small for this whole nonsense. Even me I don tire.”
