Nigerian Flutist, Tee Mac has been granted permission by the Federal High Court in Lagos for his account to be unfreezed.
Recall that because of the claimed debt that the association that was once under his leadership was owed to the defunct Afribank Plc, Justice Daniel Osiagor ordered the freezing of Tee Mac’s accounts in several commercial banks in Nigeria on January 10, 2022.
The order resulted from an exparte motion Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria AMCON made against the defendants before the court.
The court also permitted an order striking out the name of the veteran musician from the suit as there was no reasonable cause of action against him.
In addition the banks where he maintained accounts were also discharged from the order.
