Popular socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has added his voice to the growing national outrage over the ongoing killings in Benue State.
Taking to his social media platforms, he passionately urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take decisive action against open grazing, which he says has contributed significantly to the rising violence in farming communities.
According to him, the lives of innocent Nigerians, are too precious to be lost to unchecked herder-farmer clashes. “We cannot keep losing our people like this. Mr. President, this has to stop. End open grazing now,” he wrote.
His call comes after another series of attacks reportedly left dozens dead and several communities displaced in Benue. While local leaders continue to plead for federal intervention, Cubana Chief Priest’s message resonated with many Nigerians who feel that influential voices should do more to demand accountability and security.
