    Daddy Showkey reacts to D’Banj’s arrest over N-Power fraud

    Veteran Nigerian reggae star, Daddy Showkey says he feels no sympathy or pity for any person, either celebrity or politician who is found guilty of theft or fraud.

    The seasoned singer stated this while reacting to the arrest of popular afropop singer, D’banj by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, (ICPC).

    It was reported that the ‘Koko Master’ was detained by the ICPC on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 over alleged N100 million N-power fraud.

    Daddy Showkey, in an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze advocated for people to be sent to prison for stealing irrespective of their status in society.

    He noted that celebrities are also human beings who are capable of committing crimes which should not be swept under the carpet.

    He also recounted a time that a friend was arrested for stealing and the person reported to him expecting some intervention.

    He was furious over the fact that politicians engaging in corrupt practices and still go scot free while the people who should be calling for their prosecution end up hailing the political leaders.
