A one time ex-governor of Anambra state Mr Peter Obi, and also a presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the previous election, has congratulated singer Davido for his philanthropy
Mr Obi noted that aside from impacting Nigeria through music, Davido has helped nurture many talents in the music industry through his charity. This is Mr Obi’s birthday message to OBO crooner.
Following a reviewed background on Obi’s X handle he wrote:
“My dear @ davido (David Adedeji Adeleke) I rejoice and celebrate with you as you mark your birthday today. Through years of hard work, you have developed your musical talent, through which you have not only risen to fame but, through your charity work, helped many young talents grow in the industry. On your special day, I pray God to grant you more healthy and fruitful years and give you the grace to make more positive impacts on the nation.
David Adeleke who is popularly known to be a giver and this is demonstrated through his act of charity and alms giving.
However, there is no doubt to Obi’s assertions that Davido truly, is worth giving the title “A Philanthropist”.
