EFCC Arrests Benue Governor’s Aide Over Alleged S3xtortion and Cyberbullying

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Dr. Mkor Aondona, Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Documentation, Research, and Planning, over serious allegations of s3xtortion and cyberb¥llying.

    Aondona was picked up on Friday, June 20, 2025, by operatives of the EFCC’s Makurdi Zonal Directorate, following petitions from female university students who accused him of s+xual exploitation, blackmail, and online harassment.

    According to the complaints, Aondona allegedly targeted slim and attractive young women, offering them ushering jobs on the condition that they engage in s+x¥al relationships with him. The victims claimed they were secretly filmed during these encounters without their consent.

    They further alleged that Aondona used the recordings to blackmail them into continued s+xual involvement, thr+atening to leak the videos if they refused. Several of these explicit videos were reportedly shared through various messaging platforms and may already be circulating online.

    The EFCC has confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and the suspect will be formally charged in court soon.
