Hon. Ojo Asein, the previous transition Chairman of Owan West Local Government Council of Edo State and a serving member from the Edo State House of Assembly, has been arrested by agents of the Department of State Services (DSS) regarding the kidnapping of Hon. Ohiro Ezomon.

DSS agents revealed that Asein has various inquiries to reply, and has in this way been kept at the Abuja Headquarters for addressing.

Ezomon had crushed Asein in a blood-drenched essential decision challenged by both of them.

Asein was fingered in the abducting of Ezomon because of the viciousness he purportedly visited on the All Progressives Congress (APC) state authorities appointed by the gathering administration to lead the essential decision a couple of months back, and on other nearby gathering individuals at the scene of the APC essential that delivered Ezomon as Asein’s successor for the March 9 race.

One of the APC state authorities designated to lead the essential race, who asked not to be named, told our journalist that Asein and his hooligans pursued them far from the nearby government central station, the scene of the essential at Sabogida-Ora, until they looked for shelter in the place of previous Deputy Governor, Rev. Diminish Obadan.

“I have, for my entire life, never observed such homicidal infamous political hoodlum who compared himself to semi legendary political figures like Asein,” said the APC official.

“Asein and his band of hooligans pursued us with the constituent materials to Rev. Obadan’s home with cutlasses and weapons. We were held prisoner for more than seven hours in Obadan’s home while vehicles were obliterated and consumed, and human skulls broken in the midst of bangs of mooching firearms.

“It took the mediation of the Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, through telephone calls to Asein and his colleagues before we could figure out how to run away to Benin City by means of Owan East course.”
