Controversial Malawian but South African based pastor, prophet Shepard Bushiri who is popularly known as Major One has revealed to Goldenpearlmedia, the source of his Billions and his uncompromising love for Nigerian Egusi (Mellon) soup.
————————————————————————————————–
As expected, it was a raw display of the power of God between May 4 and 8 at the Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri when host Cleric, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin and his guest, Prophet Sherphered Bushiri popularly known as ‘Major One’ took the deliverance ministry to another dimension.
Thousands of people from within and outside the shores of Nigeria who thronged the ministry left with testimonies, giving thanks and praise to God for His kindness towards them.
Events at the expansive compound for the four days were better seen than imagined.
For a long time to come, it will continue to reverberate within and outside the continent.
Speaking to goldenpearlmedia after the successful program, both billionaire prophets explained why they came together for the programme.
Then Bushiri, also known as Major One, also revealed to us how he made his Billions in few years and his love for Nigerian Egusi soup and fufu.
Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin spoke first……
Sir, you had a successful program with a partner from South Africa, Shepard Bushiri, how does that make you feel, having gone this far with your ministry?
Well, it has been God all the way! He has been so good and so kind. He has given us His grace. It’s not by our power or by our might but God, for taking us to this length. And we believe, he would also take us higher and higher.
We observed that in your ministry, when you minister and heal the less privileged, you give them money too, then when pregnant women deliver in your church, you also give them money and other items, one may think that you not interested in en-massing wealth for yourself, what is motive behind your philanthropic gestures?
Jesus told us that before we can be his disciples, that we have to follow his footsteps. The bible said, ‘Jesus was doing good’ and all his disciples witnessed it.
So, if we as followers of Christ, see those that are handicapped, we have to follow the footsteps of our master. Those who have 2 can share, those who have 1, can even divide and share. We are following the scriptures, that’s why we can’t stop giving.
You visited the prisons recently, what message did you take to them and how can our politicians learn from your good gestures?
Jesus said, when I was in the prison, you visited me, when I was in the sick bed, you came for me. Those people in prison and hospitals are also our brothers. We have to carry them along.
We took the message of the gospel to them at the prison, so that when they come out they can join us and worship God. It’s all about Evangelism. Telling them about Christ, who he is, how he looks like and how he died to save us.
Major 1, what message do you have for Nigeria?
The message I have for Nigeria is love. You have lots of potentials to build your nation, based on godly values and morals but it can only be achieved with love. So, we (Prophet Jeremiah and I) brought the message of love.
Nigerians have lots of problems, divisions, confusion, so the message of love and hope, that we are brought, is quite timely. The message of love is quite important.
You are called the billionaire prophet in Africa, how did you attain such financial status within a short period and what’s your message to the youths out there on financial empowerment?
Let me put it this way, aside my prophetic office, I’m a man who is married with lovely kids. I’m a family man. I’m also an entrepreneur, I’m a businessman. I have chains of businesses, i’m an investor. I do lots of investing. I believe that youths should stay focused, committed and become an entrepreneur. They should be hardworkers. Don’t be a believer, but also a worker.
My partner here, Jeremiah Fufeyin also did and is still doing lots of investing in so many things, especially hospitality. To show the world what we can do.
From what you are saying, can one be rich and righteous at same time?
That’s the biggest point that I’m trying to raise, because it’s very important. Despite being a believer, it’s important to work hard to make your money.
In the bible, God told Timothy to be an example to the believers, not just in righteousness, but in words and in deeds. It’s all about preaching and doing miracles but to be an example for others to follow.
How is your experience in Nigeria these past few days?
Nigeria is a beautifully blessed country. It’s a spiritual country. What we are doing here is not new but the message we brought is important. Our concentration here is not just to perform miracles, but to lead people to Christ. Changing people’s lives through our preaching and our messages.
Since we came here, we have converted so many people. They were all turning up to give their live to Christ. They all accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal saviour.
As a man of God, what is the greatest thing God has done for you?
The greatest thing He has done for me is to save me. There’s nothing bigger or better than salvation. Yes! That is it!
Why did you both (Fufeyin and Bushiri) come together for this program?
We are preaching the gospel of love and it starts with us. Great men of God coming together to make things happen. They come together to preach to the world and show people love. We wore similar dresses during the crusade, yes, that is because of the kind of message we preach; Love. That is the biggest message that should be brought to the whole world.
Fufeyin, brought me here to show love. No matter how big, you may be in your ministry, you must learn to love one another and teach your people to do so too.
What should people expect from you in future?
I would say, people should expect a lot of miracles happening in their lives. I can see more miracle, wonders and deliverance.
Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin, people say you started from so little to where you are now, what’s the secret of your success?
Our elders always say, every great thing, always start from little. It’s not up to 3 years, but God has been doing wonders. You can see that for yourself. As for the rapid growth and development, it’s just by the special grace of God. It’s not our power at all.
What’s the secret of Bushiri and Jeremiah friendship; what do you like about each other?
Jeremiah: Love. Jesus is love. Love binds us together. I love everything about his life.
Bushiri: What I like about Jeremiah is that he is a man of God and has won many souls to Christ. That’s the biggest attraction.
What’s your favorite Nigerian food?
Egusi soup and Fufu. I like it so much, but I don’t like pepper at all. In fact, we don’t eat pepper at all. I ate a peppered soup the other time and it seemed like a miracle, becaue nothing happened to me. (laughs)
What’s the message you’re taking back to your country, South Africa
No message, because I came here to bring message not to take. I brought message of love. I joined hands with Prophet Jeremiah to bring message of love to Nigerians.
