Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has taken to social media to pen some sweet words to celebrate herself on father’s day.
Father’s are being celebrated today, June 20, and top personalities in the entertainment industry have joined the trend by celebrating their father and husband.
However, Mercy Aigbe via a post on her Instagram account showered praise on herself, noting that fatherhood is beyond impregnating a woman.
The star actress via the post aimed dig at her former husband, Lanre Gentry.

Please no one should come and tell me how I shouldn’t take the shine off Fathers oh! (Fatherhood is beyond just impregnating a woman, if you are a man and do not perform your responsibilities towards your kids, Biko you ain’t fit to be called a Father and that’s on Period!!!!🙄)… So, Since I am playing the dual role in my children’s lives, allow me celebrate myself everyday!
