Barely a month after news of Nelli Tembe, fiancée of popular South African rapper, AKA, reportedly jumping to her death from the 10th floor of a hotel in South Africa hit the internet.
Police were quick to assure family, friends and fans of the lovebirds that an investigation was in motion.
Following Tembe’s death and burial, a video capturing the moment her South African lover violently broke down a door to get to her has emerged.
However, the incident is believed to have happened at their apartment in Bryanston, Johannesburg, a month before her death.
According to News24, a close friend of Tembe reported that the deceased had confided in her that AKA allegedly smashed her head on the wall on 13th March during a fight and that she ran to one of their rooms to hide.
To support her claims, photos of Tembe using bags of frozen ice on her face was also released.
AKA’s fiancée reportedly went to her friend’s house after her fight with the rapper.
In helping police with their investigation, Tembe’s friend has given the police a copy of the video for further investigation.
