He healed my daughter of asthma – Actress Ronke Ojo defends TB Joshua

In a recent stirring response to the contentious BBC documentary about the late Temitope Balogun Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Nollywood actress Ronke Ojo has come forward with a personal testimony.

The documentary had accused Joshua of serious misdeeds including rape, performing fake miracles, and pressuring women into abortions. Yet, Ojo, sharing her account in a video on Instagram, paints a different picture of the late cleric, crediting him with healing her daughter’s asthma.

Ojo, recounting her experience, said her visit to Joshua’s church marked a turning point for her family, particularly her daughter who suffered from asthma.

“Initially, I don’t believe in prophecy, I am not that kind of person because there are so many scammers out there,” Ojo stated. But her skepticism changed after witnessing what she described as a miraculous healing. “Something came out of her mouth which I didn’t believe, and my junior sister experienced something similar. That was when I started going to TB Joshua’s church,” she added.

The actress described Joshua as not just a spiritual figure, but also as a genuinely nice person who had a positive impact on her and her family.

“Apart from that, he was a nice man to me and my family. I just want people to know that for me, he is a nice man and a man of God,” Ojo asserted.

Her statement offers a contrasting viewpoint to the recent allegations, highlighting the complex legacy of TB Joshua. The story sheds light on the divergent perceptions and experiences of those who encountered the late cleric, adding depth to an already multifaceted narrative.
