Oluwafemi Olusesi Michael, popularly known as Aboki 4 Christ isn’t just a comedian, but one with a great difference.
It was indeed a great night to remember for the people of Ghana as the funny man thrilled over 200,000 guests that turned up for the crusade.
It was an annual crusade tagged Ghana for Christ organised by the world renowned evangelist, Evag. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh in collaboration with the Methodist Church of Ghana, the Ogun state born humour merchant delivered as expected.
The event which kicked started on the 9th of March to 13th saw the demonstration of God’s power as the host pastor performed wonders through the word of God.
The event featured lots of Ghana based singers who used their sonorous voices to bring down the Shekinah of God.
Aboki 4 Christ, thrilled them to the ecstasy of laughter by his hilarious and humorous jokes. Laughter was all over the Black Star Independence Square, Accra-Ghana that gathered more than two hundred thousand congregants as the world
The event was well attended by the Creme and la cremes in Ghana. The Deputy President of Ghana (His Excellency Amissah Arthur) threw protocols to the bin as he uncontrollably laughed off from his seat, hitting his wife as a result of the laughter generated by the young popular comedian.
For the comedian, his major purpose is to inoculate people with what he refer to as ‘LAUGHTOMYCIN AND JOYCINTAQUINE’.
According to him, “LAUGHTOMYCIN AND JOYCINTAQUINE” are anti depressant dosage of laughter that releases the feel good hormones in correct aggregate allowing for body functional activities to go on well.
Speaking on why he does comedy majorly in church, the rib-cracker said: “Laughter is the only medicine that has no side effects. Lots of people come to worship God with sorrows and depression in their heart and your worship is not acceptable until it emanates from a joyful heart. My work as a comedian in church is to prepare the heart of the people for acceptable worship. The people laugh away their worries, and anxiety. Then, will their worship be acceptable and their blessings accessible.
