Afro-pop artist Chike Agada recently encountered a perilous situation in Abuja when he narrowly escaped an attack by unknown gunmen.
Sharing his harrowing experience on his official social media page, Chike recounted the alarming incident that unfolded after leaving a friend’s restaurant and lounge opening in the city.
In a series of posts, Chike detailed the alarming sequence of events from the past 24 hours, expressing deep gratitude for his survival. He specifically thanked both God and the Department of State Services (DSS) for swiftly intervening and ensuring his safety during the frightening incident.
Sharing his ordeal, he wrote,
“The last 24hrs have been a true testimony. I had just left the opening of my friend’s restaurant and lounge in Abuja, only to discover I was being followed. I instructed the driver to step on the pedal along Guzape Expressway, and as soon as he did, they started firing sporadically at my vehicle. I thank the Almighty because I left there unharmed.”
