Yemi Alade said she’s as big as Davido & Wizkid.
During an interview with Sensei Uche and Misi of Hot 98.3 Fm, Yemi made a bold claim about her stature as an artiste and how prominent she is on the International stage.
No doubt, Yemi alade isn’t a new name in the music industry, she has 2 classic studio albums.
She’s a good singer and yes she’s one of Nigeria selling female Acts.
The singer who recently returned to the country after a long period, touring major western cities in Germany and France; claimed that she commands the same audience as Wizkid and Davido at International shows.
But then comparing herself to Wizkid or Davido is what I won’t approve of. She’s just a good Nigeria artiste trying to build her grounds in Africa which is still yet to be achieved.
But Davido & Wizkid are World Class.
She went on to say “ask the show promoters, he people who know the numbers.” Recently, she was in Cardi b’s Comment telling her they would drop a song soon. These 2(Davido and Wizkid) already don’t need her (Cardi b) attention.
