All over the world, there are misconceptions and stereotypes about beauty pageants but the 41st Miss Nigeria, Mildred Ehiguese decided to clear the air on some of them.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, she revealed that despite being a beauty queen, she is a born again Christian.
The Psychology graduate also said that, not all beauty pageants features bikini contest, especially Miss Nigeria.
She added that her crown did not cause her to neglect her religious values but rather helped her empower women.
