Emerging Nollywood star, Sylvia Ukaatu has avowed never to go back to lesbianism after she miraculously got off the practice after being initiated while in the university.
In an interview with Pearlsnews, the Imo State born Thespian asserted that due to her ugly past, she would never play any role that is related to lesbianism.
“I will never partake in any role that has to do with Lesbianism. I will never do it because it might trigger what has been buried. Back in University days, I got into the act after been introduced by a friend. It took a whole lot to get out from such devilish act. I have aligned my life according to God’s plan and I am not ready to ruin it for mercy might not be available,” she said.
Asked if she can marry a pastor due to the level of her spirituality and considering the level of persecutions clergy men in Nigeria face presently, Ms Ukaatu said, “If it’s my calling, why would I run away from it because of temptations? When you are dead in sin, you don’t fight it, it’s only the grace of God that helps you to remain in the track. It also depend on the level of your relationship with God, the level at which you know God will help you shun sin, instead of running stand and fight. Pastors are human so I can’t judge them. God never came for the qualified rather he came for the unqualified. If you check those He used in the Bible, they all had errors but he called them and perfect them. I don’t see anything wrong in marrying a pastor.”
