The death of veteran singer and songwriter Sound Sultan came as a shock to Nigerians who have continued to mourn him on and off social media.
Sound Sultan was laid to rest amid tears in New Jersey according to Islamic rites late last night, July 11, and it was an emotional scene for friends and family present.
The singer’s wife Farida Fasasi broke into uncontrollable tears when asked to perform her duty as the wife by pouring sand on his grave.
Not able to withstand the loss, Sound Sultan’s wife could be heard saying she does not want to bury him with friends and close family trying to console her.
Farida and Sound Sultan have three lovely kids together and fans will be hoping God give them the heart to bear the loss.
