Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has publicly cried out as he was beaten and arrested because of his sexuality which made him think of suicide as the only option.
The actor posted some hours ago on how he wants to commit suicide after being beaten and arrested.
He wrote;
“I was arrested and beaten last night for being gay, I feel like committing suicide “
Reacting to the post, some social media users slammed the actor.
We could also recall that he posted on his verified Instagram page that he is leaving Nigeria because he is being constantly harassed and told that homosexuality is not a Nigerian culture.
Uche Maduagwu wrote: “I dey leave Nigeria, I was harassed again for being gay. They told me being gay no dey naija culture abeg is phone in our culture is Buhari medical trip abroad in our culture.”
Earlier this year, the actor publicly declared his sexuality, which has continued to spark reactions on social media.
