Popular Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo has finally fulfilled one of his life goals by getting an earring before his 60th birthday.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor reveals he had always wanted to wear an earring for some time now as he believes they are cool if one finds the right one.
However, on his 50th birthday, he had threatened to wear an earring but was sceptical about how residents of his state would feel about a commissioner earing an earring.
Ten years later, according to the actor, he still yearns about wearing an earring, and he has chosen to wear it irrespective of what people may say or think about him
Sharing photos of himself while rocking an earring, he wrote:
I’ve always wanted to wear an earring for some time now. I personally think they are so cool if you find the right one. When I was turning 50, I had threatened to wear one, but I wasn’t too sure how the people of Delta state would feel about an earring wearing commissioner.
10 years later I still want to wear it. I will.
I will be 60 in a few weeks, and I have grown wings.
