Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi who is deeply feeling concerned about the rise in suicide rates in the society, has in tears recalled how she was deserted after she lost her only son, Raymond Ekwu; a product of a failed marriage.
The veteran who is also a producer and an Evangelist maintained that she’s certain many other people alive are still struggling with mental health, thus resolving to suicide.
Telling her own story of depression, she encouraged every Nigeria to keep pushing and not allow suicide to be an option.
“When I lost my only son, everybody practically deserted me. But I didn’t give up. I never thought of taking my life. Suicide is never an option. It is a sin against God” she said in an emotion laden voice.
Ms Eucharia Anunobi lost her only son n 2017 due to complications from sickle cell anemia.
