The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Alkali Baba, has approved the redeployment of Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, to the Lagos Command, where he would take over as the state’s commissioner of police from Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Hakeem Odumosu.
Alabi, who was the Bauchi State Police boss until his reassignment, was set to return to the Lagos Command, Ikeja, on Monday, January 24th, to continue work and strengthen the state’s security.
Meanwhile, Baba has ordered that Odumosu, who was recently promoted to the rank of AIG, report to the Force headquarters in Abuja for redeployment.
