Nigerian rapper and entertainer Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has publicly called out veteran afrobeat star Dbanj over unresolved professional and financial issues. Mr Real, widely recognized for his hit Legbegbe, made the remarks during a recent interview on TheBeat 99.9 FM, where he spoke about his past working relationship with the veteran artist.

In the interview, Mr Real revealed that despite working with Dbanj for over two years, his only financial gain was $500, which he described as insufficient for his contributions. He also claimed that when Dbanj was reportedly in custody, “I sent ₦500,000 in support”, yet feels the commitments he expected were never honored.

Mr Real stated: “Every chance I get, I’ll be calling DJ Banj out until he settles me.” The interview clip has since circulated widely online, sparking reactions from fans and industry watchers.

Dbanj, born Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, is a renowned Nigerian singer and music executive, also known as the Koko Master. He gained international recognition with hits like Oliver Twist and has been influential in the Nigerian music industry since the early 2000s.
